Free site review

Send us your firm’s web address.

We go through it against a written list of 69 checks and email you the six problems worth fixing first, each in one sentence, with what we measured. It lands within two working days.

Fix them yourself, give the list to whoever built the site, or ask us to do it. All three are fine.

Free, no obligation, and no follow-up calls.

What happens to these details: we use them to review the site you named and email you what we find. Nothing else — no mailing list, no passing them on. The full statement is in our privacy policy.

The address is all we need. We do not ask for anything else and we do not pass it to anybody.

How it is done

Seven stages, in the same order every time.

Thirty minutes is the budget and forty-five is the limit. A site that needs longer than that has given us more than enough already.

Minutes per stage30 in total, across 69 checks

  1. First impression

Your homepage on a phone, on mobile data, timed. Not on a desk, and not on your own wifi — that is not where your clients open it.

  2. Content accuracy

Every claim on the page against what your firm actually does. Practice areas you have dropped, attorneys who have left, counters reading zero, a footer left over from a template.

  3. Conversion path

We submit your enquiry form and see whether it arrives. We follow every call-to-action to where it actually goes. This is the phase that finds money.

  4. Technical

Speed measured rather than described, console errors, the certificate, security headers, broken links across the whole site.

  5. Search and AI visibility

What Google shows for your firm and what it does not, and what ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity say when somebody asks them for an attorney in your town.

  6. Local presence

Your Google Business Profile, your map listing and your reviews — usually the first thing a local client sees and rarely anybody’s job.

  7. Compliance

Whether the page collecting personal details says what happens to them, and whether anything on the site runs against the Legal Practice Council’s rules on advertising.

What we will not do

What does not go in the list.

You will test one of the six. That is the right thing to do with it, and it is why these four rules exist.

If you would rather do it yourself first, the same checks are written up as a guide.

Nothing is invented or exaggerated
If we are not certain, it is left out. One fabricated fault would end the relationship and every referral behind it.
Severity is never inflated
An attorney who checks something we called critical and finds it cosmetic will not reply, and should not.
Measured values, not impressions
Numbers, not adjectives. “Slow” is not a finding; “six and a half seconds on a phone before you can read anything” is.
One sentence each
If a finding cannot be said in one sentence it is not ready to send. You should be able to read all six in a minute.
