01About the firm
A two-conveyancer practice in Hatfield, Pretoria. We do not litigate, we do not do commercial work, and we do not take criminal matters. Everybody here spends all day in the deeds office system, which is the only way to be quick in it.

03How we work
Whether or not anything moved. "Nothing has changed, we are still waiting on the council, it has been eleven working days" is information. Silence is not.
Not "it is with the deeds office". Which office, which stage, how many working days, and what we did about it this week.
The person who answers has read your file. On a practice this size that is not a promise, it is arithmetic.
Being right in week one is worth more than being reassuring. If the date the agent gave you is wrong, you will hear it from us.
04Your money, while we hold it
Money held for a transfer sits in a trust account governed by the Legal Practice Act. It is not an asset of this firm and no creditor of ours can reach it.
Deposits are invested in a separate interest-bearing account in your name on request. The interest is yours, less the statutory share to the Fidelity Fund.
By an independent auditor, with the report going to the Legal Practice Council. Ask for a statement of your balance whenever you want one.
How long will it really take, and what will it really cost. We would rather answer both before you instruct us than after.
